I launched the NFT project called I'm a Kitty Cat. I enlisted the help of Massimo Righi, an award-winning 3D artist with a two decade career in the film industry.
Our goal was to produce hyperrealistic cats that could exist on the Ethereum blockchain. We paid homage to the humorous cat memes and expressions of early internet days.
The Kitty Cats are meant to bring those iconic images to life through the power of blockchain and crypto technology.
Discord & Twitter
The cats were advertised on Discord and Twitter.
Group moderators were appointed to keep the the community engaged. They participated in games with the audience, made sure that official links were available and updated everyone on progress and development.
We also included a chat group for cat lovers, a column for cat advice, and a meme contest submission to keep things active on Discord.
Cat Images
In the beginning, we sold digital images of cats. Hundreds of them were bought from our website, then resold on Opensea.io.

Augmented Reality App
We are developing an Augmented Reality app which will allow NFT cat owners to play with their cats on their phone.
Two invisible traits are randomly determined when minting each NFT: Attitude, which impacts how the cat responds when touched on the screen; and Level, which determines how rapidly the cat becomes knowledgeable and thus amplifies the value of the cat.
The App will give NFT cat owners the opportunity to level up their cats, treat them nicely or ill-treat them to change their attitude. Tokens will be set up in-game to buy food and cat toys. Ultimately our goal is to provide utility to the cats.
